Spherical roller bearings have two rows of spherical rollers, and the outer raceway is spherical. This type of bearing is mainly used to withstand radial loads, as well as axial loads in any direction. It has good self-aligning performance and can compensate for coaxiality errors caused by shaft bending or improper installation. It is suitable for heavy-duty applications. Spherical roller bearings have three commonly used structures: cylindrical holes, tapered holes, and with tightening sleeves. According to the cross-sectional shape of the roller, it can be divided into two structures: symmetrical and asymmetrical spherical rollers. Symmetric spherical roller bearings have greater axial load capacity and longer service life than asymmetric bearings. To improve the lubrication of the bearing, the outer ring of the self-aligning roller bearing can be made with an annular oil groove and three oil holes.
